Blane Howard is a Nashville recording country artist who grew up in south central Arkansas. After attending high school, he decided to follow his dream of singing professionally and moved to Nashville. He attended Belmont University that is where he met most of his band members, and graduated in 2010. Howard has been touring the mid south region for many years and also been making a name for himself in the music industry. When he is not touring, he stays busy writing new songs with other musicians and songwriters in Nashville.

At the age of 3, Howard in front of his TV set at home, would sing along with country singer Alan Jackson “Chasin That Neon Rainbow.” Howard had also got the honor of opening shows for country artists like Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Joe Nichols and Travis Gritt. He has played in all different types of venues, fairs and festivals and other events like the Arkansas Sate Fair, the 2015 State Fair of Texas, and the 2015 and 2016 CMA Fest Showcases. Howard was also named IMP- Independent Musicians Promotions 2015 Country Artist of the Year, and his music video for “Crazy” was awarded Judges Pick at Indi this summer.

“Bout Time” is the title track off Howard’s first EP, which came out in January 2013 and has been a fan favorite along with his song “She’s a Mess.” In 2014 Howard wrote a song for Arkansas Tourism titled “Arkansas, Y’all,” then he re wrote the lyrics and made a Razorback verison and licensed it with the University of Arkansas. You can hear this song on many different radio stations across the state as well as sporting events on the campus. Howard’s most recent release was his first full-length studio album in June 2015 titled “Away We Go.” There are many wonderful songs on this album.

2016 has also been a great year for Howard with lots of new venues and shows added to his schedule. Howard has also extended into the Austin market with a performance at the Red Gorilla Music Festival in March and added shows in Kyle and Pflugerville, Texas. Howard opened the 2016 StarDaze Festival in Star City, Arkansas for headliner Granger Smith. He also opened for Hunter Hayes at the Timberwood Amphitheater in Hot Springs Arkansas. Howard’s biggest gig of 2016 was his wedding day in late October. Howard surprised his bride-to-be, Megan and everyone else, on the morning of their wedding with a new song he had written for her. He collaborated with long time friend and songwriter, Jordan Kyle Reynolds, on what turned out to be a special and very touching song, “Promise to Love Her.” Megan rapidly asked for the new song to be their “first dance” song.

A few days after the wedding, with a small short phone video clip from the reception, Team Blane shared the clip of the song on Howard’s Facebook music page and nothing’s been the same since. The short clip received 100,000 views in just a few short weeks and rose to over half a million views on Facebook. The official music video for “Promise to Love Her” was released on March 6, 2017 and shot to 1 million views on Facebook in just 2 weeks. The single released on March 10th and has been picked up by many small and mid-size radio markets.
